Summary: I am a Research Fellow in the Cancer Epidemiology Group. My research focuses on the use of linked datasets to examine the epidemiology and management of several cancer types in relation to age.
Location: Worsley Building
I am a Research Fellow funded by a grant from the Population Research Committee at Cancer Research UK. I exploit routine health data to understand the influence of age on the incidence, tumour characteristics, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes of cancer at a population level. Alongside this, I am a NICE scholar, assessing adherence to NICE gold standard treatment guidelines in the setting of ovarian cancer. In collaboration with NICE and local clinical teams I seek to understand the variation in treatments.
I am also a researcher in Prof Eva Morris' CORECT-R programme, quantifying outcome inequities in colorectal cancer.
