Adam Martin joined the Academic Unit of Health Economics, University of Leeds in January 2017.

Previous work as an academic health economist was at the University of East Anglia (UEA), working with Prof. Marc Suhrcke, and as part of the Cambridge-based CEDAR (Centre for Diet and Activity Research) and CCHSR (Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research).

Adam also previously worked for five years in research and/or project management roles in Parliament, the Cabinet Office and at think tanks in Cambridge (RAND Europe) and Westminster. He maintains a particular interest in public policy, and the links between research evidence and policy making.
