Visiting Assistant Researcher

Summary: Patrick is a Visiting Assistant Researcher with the Academic Unit of Health Economics


Patrick is currently working as a Renal Research Registrar, and Glomerular diseases and Vasculitis Fellow, at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.  He is studying for a PhD in Autoimmune Membranous Nephropathy and involved in a number of large multinational Phase II clinical trials; studying ANCA positive Vasculitis, Idiopathic Membranous Glomerulonephritis, IgA Nephropathy and Lupus Nephritis.  

He has worked as an Assistant Researcher in Health Economics at Leeds Institute of Health Sciences and continues to collaborate on projects including the NIHR funded Diagnostic Evidence Cooperative (DEC). He is also a specialist adviser for the NIHR HTA funded AKI Diagnostics Study.  

Patrick is a member of the International IgA Nephropathy Network and the Renal Pathology Society Oxford classification for IgA Nephropathy Probabilistic Modeling Working Group.  He is also a member of the NIHR Rare Diseases Translational Research Collaboration and a NICE Accreditation external reviewer.
