Welcome to the Pressure Ulcer Research Service User Network for the UK (PURSUN UK). PURSUN UK was set up to improve the quality of Patient and Public Involvement in pressure ulcer research. We are a network of service users, patients and carers who work ensure that pressure ulcer research is relevant to the public and is carried out in an ethical and respectful way.

“I’ve loved putting my input into the work the group are doing. I had to give up everything and it has given me something to do. I feel like I’m back in the world again!”

“In 10 years of research, the few hours spent with PURSUN have been some of the most valuable time in my career”

PURSUN UK is supported by The Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU) at the University of Leeds. The unit works on research projects across the NHS. One of their key areas of work is wounds research. http://ctru.leeds.ac.uk/
