Eirini holds a PhD in Economics from University of Kent. Her PhD thesis explored observed differences in labour market outcomes (wages and employment rates) between the disabled and non-disabled as a result of: a) differences in observable characteristics, b) unobserved differences in productivity and discrimination, and c) misclassification error creating a gap between actual and reported disability status.
She has an expertise in theoretical and empirical labour economics and applied microeconometrics. She is particularly interested in the impact of disability on the labour market.
