Summary: Shenaz is Associate Professor in Public Health with research interests in the psychological, social and ethical aspects of prenatal and genomic technologies, and ethnic health inequalities.

Teaching responsibilities

I have developed and lead modules on the Master in Public Health programme: Promoting Health; Culture, Ethnicity and Diversity.

I lecture on ‘qualitative research’ and ‘promoting health’ on the MBChB Individuals and Populations 2 course; on ‘social inclusion in research’ on the Health Research Postgraduate Certificate programme; and  ‘ethnicity issues in prenatal screening’ on the Level 3 Reproductive Psychology module for BSc Psychology.
