Summary: I'm a cognitive scientist interested in language comprehension

My research aims to uncover the nature of mental representations and processes that underlie successful language comprehension. My PhD project examines how the language system deals with words with multiple interpretations (e.g., "river/money bank"). I'm also interested in how both adults and children figure out and learn novel word meanings (e.g., "drone" denoting an aircraft), and how different word properties aid reading. I conduct behavioural, eye-tracking, and EEG experiments to answer these questions.
