Teaching Commitments: Clare provides guest lectures and research supervision for the School of Healthcare Masters programmes as well as undergraduate research dissertation supervision.


Clare's research focuses on the psychological and social impact of cancer aiming to improve patient well being and service delivery through the development and implementation of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in routine clinical practice.

She has a particular interest in people's experiences of living long-term with advanced cancer and is currently working with colleagues across the University to map the trajectories of patients living with chronic cancer and to explore patients' experiences of managing medicines during this disease phase.
