Overview

Jill worked in community and market research for over seven years before joining the University of Leeds.  Her first post was in the School of Continuing Education working on a project about disability. Since then Jill has worked on a range of projects in health related subjects. 

Jill has a background in social science and is currently employed as a research fellow on a project exploring the impact of faith on chronic pain management funded by the National Institute for Health Research. 

Jill also has a keen interest in health inequalities, health literacy, disability, particularly the social model of disability and Scandinavian relational model, cystic fibrosis and user involvement.
