Overview

After graduating from University of Leeds I undertook a training position at a clinical medical microbiology laboratory whilst I completed an MSc in biomedical science specialising in medical microbiology.

During my time as a registered specialist biomedical scientist I became interested in the role of research in clinical microbiology and subsequently pursued a PhD and have since undertaken research positions at the University of Manchester and at the University of Leeds.

Currently I’m interested in applying research strategies and methodologies to aid in the development of complex wounds diagnostic and treatment regimens and the translation of research into practice.
