Armando Vargas-Palacios and Sandy Tubeuf are in Maastricht for the 12th European Conference on Health Economics

Armando and Sandy are presenting at the 12th EuHEA conference 11-14th July in Maastricht. This year's theme is "Shaping the future: the role of health economics"

Armando Vargas-Palacios is presenting two papers. On Friday 13th July "Early economic evaluation of laparoscopic instrumentation: applications to colectomy in colorectal cancer patients" discussing a collaboration with Claire Hulme & Bethany Shinkins (AUHE, University of Leeds) and Dr Peter Culmer & Dr David Jayne  (the NIHR Surgical MedTech Co-operative ). On Saturday 14th he will talk about "Cost-effectiveness of Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy: A Simulation Modelling Approach" a collaboration with Claire Hulme and David Meads (AUHE, University of Leeds) and Jane Minton (Leeds Teaching Hospital).

Sandy Tubeuf  is presenting on Saturday 14th in the session on the evaluation of public health interventions entitled: "Economic evaluation of natural outdoor interventions as public health interventions: A framework for analysis” discussing her work with Laetitia Schmitt (Centre for Health Economics, University of York) and Rhiannon Tudor Edwards (Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation, Bangor University)
