In Leeds Institute of Cancer and Pathology (LICAP), we aim to inspire the next generation of bioscience and medical students. We achieve this by integrating high quality student education delivered by research active academic staff with opportunities to engage in cutting edge research.

LICAP staff contribute to teaching for all courses offered by the School of Medicine, supervise research projects for students enrolled on undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, and those undertaking postgraduate research degrees. Academics in LICAP also supervise work experience students, and offer summer placements and short internships. Please browse our research themes and contact a group leader directly, attaching your academic CV, to find out if places are available.
