Our Doctoral Students and Post-Graduate Researchers are a vital and integral component of our research community, contributing to advances in clinical trials and statistical methodology and the development of emerging clinical trials portfolios.
Our collaborative inter-disciplinary approach to research design and delivery, underpinned by strong clinical networks provides an outstanding and supportive training environment, with associated high quality publication outputs. We also support both Doctoral Students and Post-Graduate Researchers in post-doctoral career planning with an integrated doctoral/post-doctoral early career researcher group.
We are expanding the number of Doctoral Students and the Institute offers funded full-time or part-time PhD Studentships as well as supporting applications for prestigious externally funded Doctoral Fellowships. In addition the Institute can offer PhD registration linked to project funding and the University offers limited University Scholarships and Studentships. At post-doctoral level again we support applications for prestigious externally funded Post-Doctoral Fellowships and support Institute staff in their post-doctoral development across a range of academic activities.
