Scholarships for Home/EU Scholarships 

Postgraduate 

Psychology Excellence Scholarship

A £1,000 scholarship for applicants holding a high 2:1 or first class degree at undergraduate level in Psychology or a discipline containing a substantial amount of psychology and research methods training.

There are two scholarships available. Students must be new to the University, self-funding and not in receipt of any other fees scholarships or bursaries. Scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.

International Scholarships

Undergraduate Level 

International Science and Engineering Scholarship

Any overseas fee paying applicants who have been offered a place on an undergraduate degree programme will be awarded the International Science and Engineering Scholarship.

There's no need to apply, the scholarship is automatic for those meeting the criteria. Please note students must be new to the University, self-funded and not in receipt of any other fee scholarships, bursaries or University of Leeds awards.

A scholarship of £2,000 per year will be awarded (for a maximum of 4 years) subject to satisfactory progression into years 2,3 and 4 (60% or higher). 

To continue to receive the scholarship, students must achieve a yearly attainment percentage of 60%. The scholarship will be withheld in a year where a student fails to achieve 60%, but will be reinstated the following year if the student's performance recovers to 60% or over. Self-funding students who successfully complete the International Foundation Year (IFY) at Leeds will also be eligible for this bursary.

Head of School Excellence Scholarship

£4,000 a year (maximum 4 years) subject to satisfactory progression into years 2, 3 and 4 (70% or higher). Students achieving AAA or above at A-level (or equivalent) will be considered for the scholarship and will take the form of a tuition fee reduction. 

Students must be new to the University and entering onto the first year (level 1), self-funding international fee payer and not in receipt of any other fees scholarships or bursaries. Self-funding students who successfully complete the University of Leeds International Foundation Year (IFY) will also be eligible.

Students who receive this award will not receive the International Undergraduate Science and Engineering Scholarship. If a student achieves between 60% and 70% at the end of year 1 or 2 this scholarship will be withheld but they will receive the £2,000 International Undergraduate Science and Engineering scholarship for that year.

Postgraduate

School of Psychology International Masters Scholarship

A £2,000 scholarship will be awarded to applicants holding at least a 2:1 class degree at undergraduate level in Psychology (or international equivalent) or a discipline containing a substantial amount of psychology and research methods training.

Students must be new to the University, self-funding international fee payer and not in receipt of any other fees scholarships or bursaries. Scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
