Dr Enayatullah Modasser, originally from Afghanistan pursued the MA in Hospital Management.
What made you choose MA in Hospital Management at Leeds?
I am a professional medical doctor and prior coming to Leeds I had been working as a Hospital Director in my country. I wanted to further improve my skills by gaining a masters degree from a world recognized university. Leeds was also one of the very few universities that delivered the spcific Hospital Management programme that I wanted to pursue.
What was the highlight of the programme?
The focus on how to use scarce resources effectively for maximum output at hospitals in developing countries.
Would you recommend MA in Hospital Management to others?
I strongly recommend this programme to my colleagues and friends as long they can afford the tuition fee or find some source of funding.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I will probably go back to Afghanistan. I want to work for my people by helping to improve their health and to use the hospital’s resources more efficiently.
