Overview: 

During the first day, an overview of Bonding materials and procedures will be offered. Then, resin composite materials and layering techniques to restore anterior and posterior teeth will be shown, guiding participants to understand the clinical procedure and instructing on how to make an adequate treatment plan of different clinical conditions. Videos and keynote presentations will be used.

In the second day, participants will attend the hands-on session in which they will make direct restorations on anterior and posterior teeth using different types of resin composites.

  • 50/50 split between seminar and hands-on (Friday seminar and Saturday hands-on)

Guest Lecturer 

Guest DentistrySerhat Kohen

Born in the central Anatolian city Eskisehir, Serhat Köken graduated from Marmara School of Dentistry (Istanbul) in 1998. Since 2001, he has practised general dentistry at his private clinic in Istanbul. Over the years, Dr. Köken has focused on direct composite resin applications and dental photography and presented at national and international meetings on both the technical and artistic aspects of anterior direct resin restorations. Dr Köken has also presented numerous hands-on courses nationally and internationally on composite resin artistry dental photography. Serhat Köken is a co-founder of the Trquoise Study Club and a board member of the Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EDAD). He is a Phd student in Dental Biomaterials at Siena University. He is married with two children.
